What Changes the Price?
Two businesses with the same number of cameras can have different prices. These are the things that make the biggest difference:
1. Building size and structure
Large buildings need longer cable runs. High ceilings need lifts, and concrete, brick or finished ceilings take more time to run cable through cleanly.
2. Storage size
How long you want to keep video decides how big the recorder’s hard drives need to be. 30 days is common for small businesses; larger sites often keep 60 days or more.
3. Number of cameras
Each camera adds hardware, cabling and installation time. Most small businesses need 4 to 8 cameras to cover entrances, cash areas and parking.

Low-cost installs often save money by using lower-resolution cameras, small hard drives that only keep a few days of video, or messy exposed cabling. When something happens, the footage is not clear enough or has already been overwritten.
